our leaders at very rev John Marsh would like me to us united church to us ''lighten our darkness jack'' / royal British legion gave  us a poem to be read as  a prayer=In Flanders fields the poppies blow between the crosses row on row the larks still bravely singing fly  heard the guns below we are the dead short days ago we loved and were loved now we lie in Flanders fields take up the quarrel with the foe the torch be yours to raise up High if ye break faith with us who die we shall not sleep though poppies grow in Flanders fields. the poet died shortly after writing this poem.killed in action.
